Recreational Classes

At MBSD, our recreational dance classes are open to everyone. All ages and dance levels are welcome. We even have preschool and kindergarten classes too!

HOW DO RECREATIONAL CLASSES WORK?

  • WHEN DO THEY RUN?

    • Classes start in September and end in June with our annual recital​

  • HOW OFTEN ARE CLASSES?

    • Depending on the classes you choose, dancers will dance 1-2 times a week​

  • WHEN CAN I REGISTER?

    • Registration is open from July 1st-December 1st every year​

  • HOW DO I REGISTER?

    • You can print out a form and follow the instructions on the page, or you can register online below.​​

CLASS LEVELS

Dance level may vary based on experience and age. Talk with Ms. Bridget to know which dance level is right for you or your dancer

Level I

For dancers aged 6-10

All dance styles offered

Level II

For dancers aged 9-13

All dance styles offered

Level III

For dancers aged 13-18

All dance styles offered

Preschool

For dancers in preschool (ages 2-4)

Kindergarten

For dancers in kindergarten (ages 4-6)

Fall Registration

Classes begin on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 and run until recital in June 2026. The class schedule will be created in August closer to the start date after most class sizes have been determined to better suit everyone.


PLEASE NOTE: A $10.00 Registration Fee is due per family

Pricing: most classes run 30 minute/weekly class, some will run 60 minutes & would count as 2 classes, some will run 90 minutes & would count as 3 classes.

Dress Code: Preschool & Kindergarten must purchase a leotard through the Studio. All others need tan, pink or white tights & a black leotard (black sports bra & shorts are also acceptable). Dance attire & shoes are available for purchase through the Studio.


Want to register in person? Registration weekend will be August 9th & 10th from 10:00 -2:00 PM at the Studio. All dance attire & shoes will be available for purchase (or order) these days.
